| My husband and I
breed Basset Hounds under the kennel name "Hullabaloo
Bassets". We have titled dogs in both Obedience and
Conformation, although we breed mainly for excellence in
conformation. Out AM/CDN CH Hullabaloo's I.P.O. CGN was the Top
Pointed Basset in 2004 and her daughter AM/CDN CH Hullabaloo's Breath of
Spring CGN is Top Pointed Basset bitch for 2007, and #2 Basset
overall. We have had three Therapy Bassets and are currently
visiting with AM/CDN CH Bassetarium Obie o'Hullabaloo (aka
"Ginger"), certified with Therapeutic Paws.
Outside of dogs, we have been married
33 years and have a daughter teaching school in Kamloops BC and a son
who is a manager of a Sears Home Store. We have owned and operated
Picnic Island Resort Ltd in Honey Harbour for over 35 years. Our
lifestyle has allowed us to pursue our own interests in the winter
off-season, and as a family we all down-hill ski and enjoy the
snow. I am Past President of the Basset Hound Club of Canada and
served as Show Chair, Trophy Chair, Hospitality and Director and
currently am the Editor and Publisher of our "All Ears"
quarterly magazine.
